Search continues for suspects wanted after 50+ mile chase ended in Saint Clair

SAINT CLAIR – Do you recognize the suspect on the left above? State Police are looking for him and 17-year-old Jeremiah Begley next to him.

They are two of four suspects troopers say fired shots at state troopers near Harrisburg Sunday and fled up Interstate 81 to our area, ditching their vehicle in the Walmart parking lot in Saint Clair and fleeing.

Troopers are also asking anyone with security cameras in Saint Clair through New Philadelphia to check their footage to see if they caught the suspects on video. If you did, call PSP Frackville at 570-874-5300.

Begley and Kadence Gooch, 18, both of Kingsport, Tennessee, are facing charges for the incident. Begley is charged with attempted homicide, receiving stolen property, aggravated assault, among others. Gooch is charged with attempted homicide, receiving stolen property, among others.

At least one suspect was caught in the abandoned mine lands above the Coal Creek Commerce Center, a Sentinel reader shared Sunday.

Much of the Saint Clair area was locked down as state troopers searched for the suspects.
