Schuylkill Mall FYE to Close June 27
FRACKVILLE – Another store has announced their final day at the soon-to-close Schuylkill Mall.
According to a report by Skook News, the store’s final day of sales will be June 27, 2017, after extending its original closing date in May. The store had begun a liquidation sale in February, in anticipation of a surprise mall closure.
FYE, owned by TransWorld Entertainment, has been in the mall in its current state since 2001, after TransWorld merged its mall-based store brands following the acquisition of Camelot Music.
In Early May, Schuylkill Mall tenants were given 60-90 days to leave the mall by new owners Northpoint Development.
To date, apart from the notification to tenants regarding the eviction, Northpoint Development has left tenants, residents, and media members alike in the dark regarding the future of the East-Central Pennsylvania shopping hub.
