Schuylkill Gives begins Wednesday; organizations in Shenandoah area participating
SHENANDOAH – Wednesday marks the beginning of the fifth annual Schuylkill Gives event, 24 hours of online giving to registered nonprofits in Schuylkill County, and several local organizations are participating.
Hosted by the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, it runs from noon May 8 to noon May 9.
Approved and participating nonprofits, SACF says, have been verified by a third party processor and each has uploaded content to the event website, www.schuylkillgives.com.
Over the past four years, Schuylkill Gives has helped raise over $235,000, and additional prizes are being offered for nonprofits throughout the day.
