Saint Clair man facing child porn charges, had images of infants, toddlers involved
SAINT CLAIR – A Saint Clair man is in prison, accused of possessing images of children as young as infants and toddlers in sexual acts.
Timmy Fenstermaker, 36, of 62 South Second Street, is facing seven felony counts each of child pornography, dissemination of media depicting child sex acts, and criminal use of a communication facility.
Corporal Justin Rosboschil of the State Police Troop L Computer Crimes Unit filed the charges against Fenstermaker Wednesday in Magisterial District Judge David Plachko’s Port Carbon courtroom.
According to the criminal complaint, troopers received a tip in December from Google regarding 14 files of child pornography found tied to an account owned by Fenstermaker.
The photos involved depicted children — as young as toddlers an infants — being sexually assaulted in some capacity. Troopers outlined further graphic details in the complaint.
Technical information was also provided, including an IP address from Verizon, which was traced to a home in Ashland via a search warrant.
That home was surveilled on Jan. 23, and a search warrant was executed on Jan. 26.
The homeowner was interviewed, telling troopers that Fenstermaker had lived there briefly — from Sept. 11 until Jan. 12, when Fenstermaker had left after the two engaged in frequent arguments. The two had been the only ones living there, and the only two with access to the home’s Wi-Fi.
Fenstermaker is a registered sex offender, as well, and was listed as a transient.
The homeowner in Ashland told troopers he was aware of that, and Fenstermaker had told him about prior convictions for sexual abuse of children and child pornography, the latter which Fenstermaker claimed was because of an ad for such popping up while he was online.
When Fenstermaker moved out, he moved to Saint Clair, the homeowner said. He added that he had no knowledge of any child pornography being uploaded or in anyone’s possession.

He willingly turned over his cell phones and provided the passcodes. He also provided a laptop he said was his ex-boyfriend’s and hadn’t been used in four months.
At first, he denied viewing child pornography, troopers said, but then said it was possible there were such images on his device which had been on prior devices that he did not know how to delete.
He was taken into custody that day on Megan’s Law violations and committed to Schuylkill County Prison.
Unprompted, on the way to prison, he told authorities that there would be multiple tabs open on the laptop leading to child pornography websites and that he had used the laptop in the prior week.
Search warrants were obtained for his devices and the laptop contained 256 files of child pornography. One of his cell phones also had 127 such images.
Seven of the images were described in the complaint, which involved Pre-K through elementary-age children involved in various sexual acts.
He had also searched on the Yandex search engine for a wide variety of child pornography-related search terms, including “preteen porn,” “baby porn,” and more graphic terms.
Fenstermaker is scheduled to be arraigned on April 17. He is currently incarcerated on other charges.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 30.
