Route 924 repave progresses

SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – The project to reconstruct Route 924 through the Greater Shenandoah Area is progressing, though not without inconveniences.
A new base layer of asphalt was laid atop the milled portion of highway from the Brandonville/Pattersonville Wye to Washington Street in Shenandoah today, with new lines painted along a portion of the stretch.
Intermittent lane restrictions have been in place in the midday for the highway, backing up traffic through downtown Shenandoah as far as Burger King at times.
