Route 924 crash injures one

BRANDONVILLE – One person was hurt after they lost control of their truck and struck a ditch near this East Union Township village Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30pm about a quarter of a mile north of the former Innsbrook on Route 924.
According to East Union Township Police, a witness said a Dodge Dakota pickup, headed south, crossed the center line and overcorrected, running off the right-hand side of the road and striking a ditch.

Police said the driver, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries. The driver was helped from the vehicle by Shenandoah Ambulance and Sheppton-Oneida Fire personnel.
The Dodge Dakota was towed from the scene by Stauffer’s Towing, Zion Grove.
