Ringtown man arrested for Brandonville break-in
BRANDONVILLE – A Ringtown man is in Schuylkill County Prison after state troopers say he tried to break into a business in this East Union Township village last Wednesday.
Troopers from the Frackville State Police barracks said the incident happened just after midnight July 1, when neighbors noticed a red SUV outside the Nordic Tool and Die building.
A man, later identified as Gregory Fritsch, 30, of Ringtown, placed a pallet on an AC unit in an effort to climb atop the roof of the building.
Troopers arrived, finding the SUV outside, and established a perimeter.
Fritsch then walked out the front door, and was taken into custody.
Troopers conducted a search of the building, finding the roof entrance door was “broken into pieces” and multiple bags were located outside said door.
Fritsch was found in possession of gloves and a screwdriver.
He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, possessing instruments of crime, and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $25,000 by Magisterial District Judge David Rossi and Fritsch was committed to Schuylkill County Prison.
