Refuse truck rolls on Burma Rd., no injuries reported
BLYTHE TOWNSHIP – A refuse truck hauling demolition debris from New Jersey to the BRADS Landfill rolled Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 1:30pm on Burma Road in Blythe Township, near the entrance to the Silver Creek Fire Tower.
A tractor trailer from Twin Turbo Trucking, of Paramus, New Jersey, a few miles outside Manhattan, was headed south on Burma Road when it rolled and struck a utility pole.
No injuries were reported, though traffic control was in place for much of the afternoon as the truck was brought upright and its load cleaned up.
State Police are investigating. Saint Clair firefighters responded and provided traffic control.
