Purse, cash, gun swiped from Shen. Heights cars
SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – State Police are investigating the theft of a purse, $570 within, and a firearm from two cars overnight between Wednesday August 26 and Thursday August 27.
State Police at Frackville said, between 7:00pm Wednesday and 5:10am Thursday, someone swiped a 9mm semi-automatic pistol from the center console of a 2009 Honda in the 200 block of Arizona Avenue.
Then, troopers said a pink purse was swiped from side of the driver’s side door of a 2003 Hyundai between 9:00pm and 10:30am the same days in the 300 block of Florida Avenue.
The purse was found nearby, though the cash — $570 — and a safe key were taken from the purse.
