PSP: Woman drove Cadillac through garage door, fled

TRESCKOW – A Sugarloaf woman is wanted after State Police say she stole a car, drove it through a garage door and abandoned it later.

Ashley Sist, 38, of Sugarloaf, is wanted on felony theft and criminal mischief for the incident.

State Police at Hazleton said the incident happened around 9am Friday at a home on East Maple Street in Banks Township.

Troopers said Sist allegedly took a 2011 Cadillac SRX and drove it through a garage door. Troopers said that caused “significant structural damage.”

About an hour later, the car was found by Hazleton City Police abandoned.

As of Tuesday evening, Sist as not yet been arraigned.
