PSP: Several shot, shooter fled in Church Hill section of Hazle Township
HAZLE TOWNSHIP – State Police at Hazleton said “several individuals were struck by gunfire” but an unknown shooter or shooters in the Church Hill section of this Luzerne County township Friday.
Troopers were called to the area of East 23rd Street between Routes 309 and 940 around 5pm for a reported shooting.
They said several individuals were shot by an individual or individuals who fled the scene.
The incident appears to be isolated, troopers said, and the community is not at risk.
The Troop N Major Case Team is investigating.
