PSP: Neighbor dispute leads to shots fired, attempted homicide charges

McADOO – A McAdoo woman is in Schuylkill County Prison, accused of firing shots at her neighbor’s house during an argument between her husband and neighbor.

Jennifer Villa, 51, of McAdoo, was arraigned Wednesday on felony attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure charges, among others.

According to State Police at Frackville, troopers were called to a home on East Blaine Street around 9pm Tuesday night.

Troopers said two men, both neighbors, engaged in a scuffle and one neighbor’s wife retrieved a firearm and fired at the other neighbor.

Two shots were at the neighbor and another in door of their home.

Villa was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $500,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for June 18 before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli in Frackville.
