PSP: Mount Carmel man trespasses at private residence, enters garage
ZION GROVE – A Mount Carmel man is facing felony criminal trespass charges after state police say he drove up a private driveway, entered a garage there, and refused to leave after multiple instructions to do so.
Nathan Hinkle, 31, of Mount Carmel, was charged with felony criminal trespass – entering a structure, misdemeanor defiant trespass, and summary trespass by vehicle on a private road or driveway.
State Police at Frackville said the incident happened around 5pm Thursday at a home on Trout Run Road in Union Township.
Troopers said Hinkle drove up a private driveway and entered a garage on the property.
Hinkle was confronted by the homeowner, told he was on private property and to leave, numerous times. He ignored those requests.
Eventually, he left in a 1998 Jeep.
Trooper Ryan Sverchek filed charges against Hinkle in Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli’s Frackville courtroom.
Hinkle is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
