PSP: Man killed, woman seriously injured in Kline Township crash
KLINE TOWNSHIP – State troopers identified today the victim of a fatal crash near McAdoo early Saturday morning.
According to the State Police at Frackville, Jeffrey Urban, 67, of McAdoo, was headed northbound on Route 309 near Lofty Road in a 2021 Nissan Sentra.
Troopers said he drove off the right shoulder of the road and into the back of a parked Freightliner truck.
Urban was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 64-year-old Amy Urban, was flown to a Lehigh County hospital with serious injuries.
Assisting at the scene were firefighters from McAdoo and Hazle Township along with EMS from McAdoo and LVHN.
