PSP investigating vehicle theft in Wilburton
WILBURTON – State Police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from this Conyngham Township village.
State Police at Bloomsburg released information on the incident Thursday.
Troopers said they were called to the 500 block of 2nd Avenue for a vehicle theft on Jan. 13.
The victim told police someone had stolen his 1998 Dodge Ram from his property. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.
While troopers were investigating, the stolen pickup became involved in a pursuit initiated by Mount Carmel Borough Police on Jan. 14 around 2am.
On Jan. 16, with the assistance of the State Police aviation unit, the vehicle was found in woodlands in Mount Carmel Township.
