PSP: Girardville man burglarized home, swiped tackle box
GIRARDVILLE – A Girardville man is in Schuylkill County Prison after State Police said he broke into someone’s home and fled with a tackle box.
The incident happened around 10:00am Saturday on Main Street when State Police at Frackville said 33-year-old George Hepler, of Girardville, broke into a home through a basement window.
The homeowner heard the commotion when Hepler broke a doorframe to get in, and an argument ensued.
Hepler fled, leaving behind stolen items.
He was later located and arrested, charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and related charges.
Hepler was committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $25,000 straight cash bail.
