PSP: 8-year-old on ATV struck, killed by tractor trailer
DELANO – An 8-year-old boy was killed this morning in Delano Township, State Police at Frackville said.
Troopers said the incident happened around 11:40am at 152 Hazle Street in Delano.
State Police said an 8-year-old boy was riding an ATV in the private parking lot at that address when a tractor trailer entered the same lot and turned behind a garage on the property.
The truck driver didn’t see the child on the ATV, who was then struck by the right rear tires of the truck.
Troopers said the child succumbed to his injuries.
