Police: Woman tried to swipe cigarrettes, struck another at Turkey Hill
SHENANDOAH – A woman is in Schuylkill County Prison after borough police say she forced her way into an off-limits room and struck another woman in a downtown convenience store.
The incident happened around 1:30am on April 25, when police said they were called to the Turkey Hill for the incident.
Officers said Kaitlyn Collins, 27, with no fixed address, had forced her way into a closed room and tried to swipe cigarettes. When confronted, she attacked a female, damaging an iPhone, store equipment, and merchandise.
Police said Collins was in possession of two hypodermic needles when she was taken into custody.
She is facing charges of robbery, simple assault, criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other summary offenses.
