NORTHERN SCHUYLKILL – The following is a collection of police incidents reported by local law enforcement agencies in our region.
Assault
COALDALE – A Coaldale woman is facing charges, accused of pulling a knife over a pepperoni stick dispute.
Alicia Blocker, 40, was released on $15,000 bail on misdemeanor simple assault and reckless endangerment charges.
State Police at Frackville said they were called to West Early Avenue in Coaldale around noon Feb. 9.
Troopers said Blocker and a 49-year-old man were in a verbal dispute over a pepperoni stick.
Blocker, troopers said, swung a knife at the man and was arrested and charged.
Theft
MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – State troopers are seeking whoever swiped lights from heavy machinery on mine land in Mahanoy Township.
State Police at Frackville said the theft happened some time between noon Jan. 18 and 3:30am Jan. 20.
Someone swiped lights from three pieces of heavy machinery at Reading Anthracite property off Brandonville Road.

Vehicle Accident
LEWISTOWN VALLEY – A Mahanoy City man was taken to an Orwigsburg hospital after a rollover crash in Blythe Township.
State Police at Frackville said the crash happened on Mountain Road near Pine Creek Road around 3pm Saturday.
Troopers said John Petillo, 34, of Mahanoy City, was headed south on Mountain Road in a 2010 Honda Pilot when he lost control of the car on the snow-covered road, hit an embankment, and rolled the vehicle.
He was taken to Geisinger St. Lukes Hospital for treatment of injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers said he will be cited.
Kaska firefighters responded to assist.
Vehicle Accident
KLINE TOWNSHIP – A Kelayres man was taken to a Hazleton hospital after a crash near McAdoo.
State police at Frackville said the crash happened around 1pm Saturday on Mile Hill Road north of East Main Street.
Troopers said Adam Perna, 28, of Kelayres, was headed south on Route 309 on the snow-covered road. He attempted to slow down for a left-hand corner, lost control, and crashed into an embankment. He was in a 2014 Ford F-150.
He lost consciousness in the crash, troopers said, and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton for evaluation.
Vehicle Accident
BRANDONVILLE – A Berwick woman escaped injury when state troopers say she rolled her car on Route 924 between Shenandoah and Brandonville.
State Police at Frackville said the crash happened around 8am Sunday.
Detra Singletary, 37, of Berwick, was driving along Route 924 near Brandonville in a 2018 Cadillac XTS when she lost control on slush/ice covered roads.
The vehicle struck an embankment and rolled.
Singletary was wearing her seatbelt and escaped injury.
Route 924 was closed for about an hour.
Vehicle Accident
SHENANDOAH – State troopers said a car struck a home on the east end over the weekend.
According to State Police at Frackville, a 2017 Kia Sorento was headed west on Route 54 into town when it left the highway and struck a parked GMC and the front porch of 703 East Centre Street.
No injuries were reported.
Troopers did not identify anyone involved in the crash. No one was cited.
