Pitman man charged for Ashland Boyer’s theft

ASHLAND – A Pitman man faces charges after state police say he stole items from the Ashland location of Boyer’s Food Markets last Saturday.

​According to State Police at Frackville, Jason Conner, 41, of Pitman entered the store and concealed about $7 worth of merchandise.

Store personnel subsequently confronted the man, and Conner shoved past a clerk to leave the store.

Connor was later found and identified at an apartment in Ashland the next day and charged with robbery, retail theft, and harassment.

Connor was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David Rossi, Tremont, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail.
