SHENANDOAH – Friday night’s football game was the annual Military Appreciation Night at Shenandoah Valley.

Members of various branches of the Armed Forces were on hand and ran out with the football team with flags for the team and the Armed Forces.

Also on hand was Mrs. T’s Pierogies, who sponsors the night, with Pierogyman and, at halftime, three people attempted a field goal to win a lifetime supply of pierogies.

The A.P. Damato American Legion Honor Guard presented our nation’s colors at pregame as well, and State Rep. Tim Twardzik performed the coin toss.
