MAHANOY CITY – A 7-1 early in Tuesday’s baseball matchup quickly evaporated for Shenandoah Valley as Mahanoy Area attempted to mount a comeback.
The game was originally slated as a Shenandoah home game, but was moved to Mahanoy Area instead.

By the third inning, the Devils held a relatively comfortable 7-1 lead over Mahanoy.
Despite a Bears rally, Shenandoah came out on top, 8-7.
