SHENANDOAH – Black Friday is traditionally a day of Christmas events end-to-end in Shenandoah, and this year, it was no different.

Beginning with the Santa Drop, the Christmas parade and a meet-and-greet with Santa early in the day, the Christmas events continued in the early evening, when Downtown Shenandoah, Inc. held their annual Coal Cracker Christmas event at the Damato Post.

Beginning at 5:30pm, Shenandoah Valley High School students performed a rendition of How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Afterwards, attendees enjoyed free hot chocolate and cookies inside the Damato Post, and horse-drawn trolley rides through the downtown section of the borough outside.
