Person attempts to steal Bobcat, crashes into ditch, flees

WEST MAHANOY TWP. – A person tried to steal a Bobcat skid-steer at some point over the weekend, and had no luck in the act, though State Police are investigating.
Troopers said that some time between 6:00pm Friday and 6:00pm Sunday, someone tried to swipe a Bobcat from Black Rock Trucks and Equipment near Morea.
The actor commandeered the Bobcat, which was parked at the rear of the property, and attempted to drive off into the woodlands.
En route, the actor ran into a drainage ditch, disabling the Bobcat.
The actor then fled the scene.
