The project, according to Tony Sajone, borough manager, involves milling and paving the travel lanes of Route 54 from the Shenandoah Valley School District campus to Souchuck’s Lumber on the east end.

Because of the road construction, the Schuylkill Transportation System cancelled fixed route service for West Centre Street locations, including Boyer’s Food Markets.

Though, an STS shared ride bus was able to use West Centre when a Sentinel photographer was there.
