Orwigsburg woman killed in crash
FRISBIE – A 70-year-old Orwigsburg woman was killed in a crash near this West Brunswick Township village just east of the borough Saturday.
State Police at Schuylkill Haven say the crash happened around 6pm at 62 New Philadelphia Road.
Troopers said Susan Lehman, 70, of Orwigsburg, was headed south on New Philadelphia Road in a 2014 Subaru Impreza.
She left the roadway, struck a mailbox and then a tree.
Troopers said Lehman was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters from Deer Lake and Orwigsburg responded to assist.
