Nuremberg Players to perform ‘Through The Looking Glass’

NUREMBERG – The Nuremberg Community Players are inviting audiences to take a magical journey “Through the Looking Glass” as they bring the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale to life on stage. Join Alice as she steps through the mirror into a topsy-turvy world filled with talking creatures, chessboard kingdoms, and unforgettable characters.

Lisa Yurcho stars as Alice, the curious and courageous young girl at the center of the adventure. Guiding the audience through the story is Lewis Carroll, played by Adam Yurcho, who also serves as narrator and observer of the strange and wonderful world beyond the looking glass.

Cyrus Shaw Freeman appears as the bumbling yet kind-hearted White Knight, while Sarah Lloyd takes on multiple roles including Mama, the peculiar White Queen, and a Referee in the chess match of Alice’s imagination.

John Zions commands the performance as the Jabberwock. Jason Reese plays the confused and comical White King. Leiloni Verges brings versatility to her roles as the no-nonsense Miss Prickett, a Pawn, and an eccentric Train Conductor. Jerry O’Grodnick portrays Papa and the sleepy, dreamlike Red King, while Becky Nenstiel commands the stage as the fierce and bossy Red Queen.

The ensemble cast features a wide range of characters from both sides of the looking glass include: Joey Gans as Mr. Deedle, Gavin Johnstone as Tweedle Dum, Kenny Wysoski as Mr. Humphrey, Michelle Wysoski as the cryptic Paperwomam, Jennifer Hart as the fantastical Lion, and goat, Shelly Selby as the elegant Unicorn and the iconic Humpty Dumpty, Conrad Llewellyn as Queen’s Beast, Sam Llewellyn as Tweedle Dee, Nora O’Grodnick as Little Alice, Jemma Perchak, Jaceelynn Perchak, Rosalie D’Amato, Kate Gebhardt, Joe Dettery, Liberty Dettery, each appear as Pawns, Villagers, and Passengers.

“Through the Looking Glass” is the sequel to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, following Alice as she steps through a mirror into a fantastical world of chess pieces, talking flowers, and unforgettable characters. The production promises an evening of enchantment, humor, and heartfelt moments suitable for all ages.
