Nuremberg Players announce cast for ‘The Little Mermaid’
NUREMBERG – The Nuremberg Community Players have unveiled the cast for their upcoming performance of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
Directed by Shawn Anderson, and co-directed by Dave Moses, with assistant directing by John Zions, and apprentice directing by AJ Miller, this enchanting musical promises to captivate audiences of all ages.
Performances are scheduled to take place on August 9th and 10th at 7pm, the 11th at 3pm, the 16th at 7pm and the 17th at 3p, at The Emerson Theater located at 283 Hazle Street, Nuremberg.
Taking center stage as Ariel is Lisa Yurcho. Her voice is sure to bring Ariel’s curiosity to life.
Opposite her as the dashing Prince Eric is Dave Moses, ensuring a chemistry that will charm audiences throughout the performance.
Matthew Pretti will command the role of King Triton, Ariel’s father, while Todd Statuto will bring the beloved crustacean Sebastian to life.
Stepping into the role of the formidable Ursula is Bridget Mealia, accompanied by her electric eels played by Melody Cavallo and Sarah Moses, who promise to bring Ursula’s villainy to new heights.
Playing the roles of Ariel’s sisters are Becky Nenstiel, Lauren Miller, Colleen Cavallo, Kris Birshell, Nasrin Hendon, and Kaydence Weikel.
Jennifer Hart will be taking on the role of the comedic seagull, Scuttle, adding a touch of humor to the underwater world.
Cyrus Shaw Freeman dives into the role of Flounder, Ariel’s loyal fish friend, while Joey Gans portrays Prince Eric’s devoted guardian Grimsby.
Kenny Wysoski takes on the role of the Pilot. Eric Pugh will bring Chef Louis to the stage with his antics, promising laughs.
The production also features a talented ensemble including Brighton Kleyman, Saige Kleyman, Coral Kleyman, Aj Miller, John Zions, and others, each contributing to the magical ambiance of the undersea kingdom.
