FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – Do you have a trumpet or flute collecting dust in the attic that you don’t need anymore? Consider donating it to the North Schuylkill School District to help out their young musicians.

The school district’s band directors — Jacob Shoener and Michelle Schwartz — are asking for the community’s help to bolster their inventory of band instruments for elementary and high schoolers.

“Many of our school owned instruments are already in students’ hands,” the directors said in a joint press release. “Our program is growing rapidly and we would love to accept donations of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.”

Contact Schwartz at [email protected] or Shoener at [email protected] if you are able to make any instrument donations.
