North Union seeking $115k DCNR grant for Nuremberg Park improvements
NUREMBERG – North Union Township supervisors approved Monday night a resolution to seek a $115,784 grant to rehabilitate the Nuremberg Community Park.
According to the resolution, North Union Township wants to install a 5′ accessible walkway and accessible parking with signage, along with rehabilitating the play area.
The project’s total cost would be $145,784.23, with $115,784.23 from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
The resolution authorizes the township’s chair and vice chair to execute all necessary documents and agreements for the grant.
