North Schuylkill Band wins awards at Music In The Parks at Hershey

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Dauphin County – The North Schuylkill Band performed at HersheyPark in Dauphin County Saturday and walked away with some hardware.
The Spartans performed in a parade Saturday morning, winning first place in their classification as well as the festival’s Espirit De Corps award.
That award, the festival says, “recognizes the participating organization that displays an exemplary attitude of positive support and outstanding personal behavior throughout the festival. Personal integrity, quality character values, a desire for excellence, and a spirit of cooperation serve as the cornerstone qualities of the Esprit de Corps Award.”
Following the performance, the band spent the day at the amusement park.
