No injuries reported in Mahanoy crash

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - Damage to a Chevy Equinox and Ford Fusion is evident after a crash on Oct. 15, 2020.

MAHANOY CITY – No one was hurt when two vehicles collided in Mahanoy Township just outside this borough on Thursday.

The crash happened around 2:45pm today on West Centre Street near Golden Bear Drive.

Mahanoy Township Police said a Ford Fusion was leaving a gas station when the driver struck the side of a passing Chevy Equinox.

Neither driver was injured.

The Ford was towed from the scene by Steve’s Towing.

Assisting township police at the scene were firefighters from the Mahanoy City West End Fire Co. and medical personnel from Shenandoah Ambulance.
