NJ man overturns tractor trailer, escapes injury

SHEPPTON – A New Jersey man was unharmed after he rolled his tractor trailer on Route 924 near Sheppton Monday morning.
The crash happened around 7:00am Monday, State Police at Frackville said, when 50-year-old Sadath Naser, of Bayonne, NJ, was headed south on Route 924 towards Brandonville in a 2012 Freightliner.
The truck driver lost control coming down the Sheppton mountain, and the truck rolled onto its passenger side, sliding onto the southbound shoulder.
Naser was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.
Troopers said Naser will be cited for the crash.
The roadway was closed for several hours as a towing company removed the truck.
Assisting State Police at the scene were firefighters from the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company and ambulance personnel from Shenandoah Community Ambulance.
