New Ashland Little League field seeks county planner approval

ASHLAND – Plans are in the works for a new baseball field in Ashland.

The project was before the Schuylkill County Planning Commission last week.

As drawn, a brand new field would be built behind the t-ball field at the Ashland Little League complex on Eureka Drive.

Plans also include new parking areas behind home plate for both Toewe-Rebuck Field and the T-ball field, as well as new batting cages and ADA-accessible pathways between the fields.

The project, league officials say, still has more regulatory approvals to clear before shovels can hit the dirt.
