SHENANDOAH – Thanks to a coalition of companies led by Shenandoah’s own Mrs. T’s Pierogies, pallets of bottled water are now available in town and in William Penn.
Mrs. T’s teamed up with Niagara Bottling, of Hazleton, and Wegmans to donate pallets of bottled water.
“Mrs. T’s Pierogies is proud to support Shenandoah during this challenging time and remains committed to helping neighbors access essential resources as recovery efforts continue,” the east end company said in a statement.
Half of the shipment is at borough hall and half is at the William Penn firehouse.
Volunteers from Mrs. T’s are helping distribute the water, too.
At the William Penn firehouse, water can be picked up from 5pm to 8pm Wednesday or 7am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm Thursday. A limit of one case per residence is in effect.
West Mahanoy Township supervisors expressed gratitude for the donations.
