Minor injuries reported in rural Barnesville crash

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - The scene of Tuesday's crash in Rush Township.
BARNESVILLE – One person was taken to a local hospital after a crash in a rural portion of Rush Township Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 3:00pm on Tuscarora Park Road between Route 309 and the Tuscarora State Park.
A Kia Soul headed east towards Route 309 lost control, striking a guiderail abutment and a tree.

Tamaqua EMS personnel transported one to a local hospital
The vehicle was removed from the scene by Hope’s Towing.
Responding to the scene were Tamaqua EMS and Rescue, Ryan Township and Hometown Fire, and Rush Township Police.
