Minor injuries reported in Mahanoy collision

MAHANOY CITY – Minor injuries were reported after a two-car crash on Mahanoy Street here Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 5pm at Mahanoy and Locust Streets in the borough.
A Jeep Compass was heading south on Locust towards Mahanoy and pulled out into the intersection, striking a passing Chevrolet pickup truck.

Police said minor injuries were reported from the Jeep.
The Jeep was disabled, though the Chevrolet was able to be driven.
Mahanoy City firefighters assisted at the scene.
