Meuser elected to fourth term in Congress
DALLAS – U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser (R-9) was elected to serve his fourth term in Congress Tuesday.
Meuser, of Luzerne County, faced Democrat Amanda Waldman in a rematch of the 2020 election.
“I am grateful to the people of Pennsylvania’s Ninth District for entrusting me once again to represent our community in Washington,” Meuser said in a statement. “When I first ran for office, I promised to deliver the best constituent services in Congress, and I am confident we’ve fulfilled that pledge.”
Meuser won by more than a 2-to-1 margin, with 70.8% of the vote, 272,624 votes, to Waldman’s 29.2%, or 112,454 votes.
