Men arrested after April raids now face federal charges
SHENANDOAH – Two local men are now facing federal charges in connection with two drug raids in town in the spring.
Darious Felder, 34, of Furnace Street, Shenandoah, and Mark Thompson, 50, of South 10th Street, Ashland, were both indicted this week by a federal grand jury with drug trafficking offenses.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the two men are accused of conspiring with others to sell methamphetamine between January 2025 and April 2025.
Specifically, federal authorities allege that Felder, on three separate occasions in March and April 2025, distributed and sold 50 grams or more of a substance that contained methamphetamine.
Thompson is accused of doing similar on April 8, 2025.
The Shenandoah Police Department, FBI, and Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Ofice are investigating.
Felder and Thompson were both held in Schuylkill County Prison on state charges. Thompson’s state charges were withdrawn on June 26. Felder’s state charges are awaiting trial.
