It was part of National Night Out in Conyngham, held at Whispering Willows Park.

First responders from the borough, Sugarloaf, and Butler Township (Luzerne) came out along with State Police, Lehigh Valley Health Network – Hazleton EMS, and more.

A special guest was an air medical helicopter from the Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Young and old alike were given a close-up look at patrol cars, fire trucks, and the helicopter.

Sugarloaf Police also showed off their own aerial capabilities, launching a drone. The drone’s camera display was routed to a television in the back of a patrol car for attendees to see the bird’s eye view.
