Man arrested in connection with ‘explosive device’ ignited inside Mahanoy chapel
MAHANOY CITY – A Mahanoy City man is facing arson charges after police say he set off what they called an explosive device inside a church in the borough.
Kyle Kuczynski, 32, of Mahanoy City, was arrested Tuesday evening by Mahanoy City Police.
Police said he was arrested in connection with an incident in which an explosive device was ignited inside the St. Teresa of Calcutta chapel Tuesday evening.
He will be arraigned on arson and related offenses, police said.
