Mahanoy Township to consider LERTA resolution
MAHANOY CITY – Mahanoy Township Supervisors will consider a LERTA resolution at this month’s meeting.
A hearing will take place at 6pm on Oct. 16, before the regular supervisors meeting, at the township building at 1010 West Centre Street.
According to a public notice published in the Pottsville Republican newspaper, the hearing is to fix “the boundaries of the deteriorated areas located in its jurisdiction and also for public input and passage of a proposed resolution concerning LERTA real estate tax relief.”
The resolution is available at the township building.
Township officials said regarding the LERTA that a specific project has not been eyed yet.
