Mahanoy man transported after Brandonville rollover

BRANDONVILLE – A Mahanoy City man was taken to a Pottsville hospital after a rollover crash this morning in this East Union Township village.
State Police at Frackville said the crash happened around 2:00am at Main Boulevard and Shenandoah Mountain Road.
Troopers said Takiem Foat, 28, of Mahanoy City, was headed north on Route 339 entering the village and failed to negotiate a left-hand turn in the roadway, losing control and overturning his 2012 Dodge Journey.
The vehicle came to a rest on its drivers side.
Foat was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill – East Norwegian Street in Pottsville for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said Foat will be cited for the crash, and he was not wearing his seatbelt.
