MAHANOY CITY – Let the games begin!
The Mahanoy Area Girls Softball League began their 2021 season today, following a parade through town and a ceremony at East End Park in the borough.

The girls softball league has roughly 80 players this year, a rise from a recent low of roughly 30.
During opening ceremonies, the league recognized longtime volunteer Suzanne Mayberry, who has been involved with the league for two decades.
