MAHANOY CITY – The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 recently donated $6,000 to Schuylkill Community Action (SCA) for food pantries located in their district in Shenandoah, Mahanoy City, and Ringtown.
The money was secured from an ENF (Elks National Foundation) Grant through the lodge.

The Elks National Foundation is a program that helps build stronger communities by helping our youth develop lifelong skills, send students to college, meet the needs of today’s veterans, support charitable work and fund projects that improve the quality of life in local communities.
The Mahanoy City Lodge was able to secure a total of $9,500 in grants through the program this year.
