Mahanoy City Elks make supply donation to Lebanon VA Hospital

MAHANOY CITY – Some local folks made a notable donation to the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Hospital last week.
The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 delivered $1,800 in comfort items to the hospital in Lebanon County last Thursday, Dec. 18.
These were purchased through a grant from the Elks National Foundation.
Mahanoy City’s lodge received $11,500 this year in ENF grants, reaching membership goals in donations and applying for funds to meet the needs of today’s veterans, support charitable work and funds other projects that improve the quality of life in local communities.
