SHENANDOAH – The sign is already up, but, come the new year, a local Shenandoah business will have a new name.
Lightning Rent-To-Own, at Main and Oak Streets, will become Majik Rent-To-Own on January 2, according to a sign posted in the window.
The old sign was covered with the new one earlier today.
The Lightning Rent-To-Own chain, which has three locations, two in the Lower Anthracite region — Shenandoah, Shamokin (near Ranshaw) and Berwick — will all become part of the Majik chain, which has 10 locations in central Pennsylvania.
Majik, founded in 1984, is based in Lancaster County.
