Labor protest planned for Miners Memorial

SHENANDOAH – A former U.S. Rep. will be in town next month as part of a rally for worker’s rights, organizers say.
The Schuylkill County Democratic Committee is planning the rally at the Pennsylvania Anthracite Miners Memorial at Girard Park from 11am to 1pm on July 12.
Former U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb will be the keynote speaker along with local union officials, organizers told the Sentinel over the weekend.
