SHENANDOAH – A stand-out forward for the Blue Devils in high school, Joshua Dombrosky has been tapped to lead the Devils in 2023-24.

The Shenandoah Valley School District Board of Education approved the appointment at Wednesday’s meeting.

Dombrosky replaces longtime coach Rob Miller, who resigned last month, one season removed from the first District XI title since the 1970s.

As a player on Miller’s first Devils squads, Dombrosky helped lead Shenandoah Valley to the District XI 2A title game in 2012, a buzzer-beater loss to Pine Grove. It was the first district title game for the Devils basketball squad since 2000. He was named co-player of the year that year by the Pottsville Republican.
