FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – We now know who will replace longtime head coach Wally Hall at the helm of the North Schuylkill football program.
The North Schuylkill School Board named a Ringtown man to the post Wednesday night.
Joseph Tomtishen, an assistant coach during much of Hall’s 13-year tenure, takes over for the 2026 season.
From 2015 through 2022, he served as defensive coordinator for the Spartans.
Prior to North Schuylkill, he was an assistant coach at Tri-Valley and at Lebanon Valley College.
Hall resigned in December after 13 years and a 115-37 record.
